National Museums Liverpool

National Museums Liverpool is a group of eight museums and galleries making up the largest cultural organisation in the North West.

Our venues are: Museum of Liverpool, Walker Art Gallery, Lady Lever Art Gallery, World Museum, Merseyside Maritime Museum, International Slavery Museum, Sudley House and Seized! (Border Force National Museum).

With over four million objects, our collections are among the most important and varied in Europe and contain everything from Impressionist paintings and rare beetles to a lifejacket from the Titanic. Last year we welcomed over 2.7 million visitors with more than 180,000 children on school trips.

One of our most successful outreach programmes is the award winning House of Memories training programme which supports carers and families of people living with dementia. It provides participants with information about dementia and equips them with the practical skills and knowledge to facilitate a positive quality of life experience for people living with dementia.

As a charity we rely on additional income to help support all the work we do. By leaving a gift in your Will you would help us to continue our diverse range of work and care for our collections for future generations.

A legacy gift could:

  • Help conserve objects or artworks that are important to you
  • Support the development of your favourite museum or gallery
  • Make a real difference to your community through out education and outreach work
  • Support our House of Memories dementia training programme
  • Contribute to areas of our work where support is most needed
