Join Liverpool Historian, Ken Pye on Tuesday 13th September at the Central Library to hear how gifts in Wills have made an impact on the city and the good work of local charities.
Legacy Liverpool are delighted to be working with Ken on this fascinating event which will explore how gifts in Wills have continued to make a valuable impact across the region and the communities within it. As well as hearing from Ken, you will find out more on the work of Legacy Liverpool and some of the local stories that have impacted these charities.
There will also be a Will Advisory Clinic on the day with probate solicitors from Quality Solicitors Jackson & Canter and DWF as well as representatives from the charities involved should you wish to find out more about their work.
The event will be open between 10am-4pm with Ken carrying out his talks at 11am and 1pm in the Hornby Library (each talk is expected to last approximately 40 minutes).
If you're unable to make the event but would still like to get involved, find us on Facebook or Twitter and tell us, "What would you leave to Liverpool?" making sure you use the hashtag #canttakeitwithyou
We've already had a couple of our member charities share what they would leave to Liverpool...
"I leave behind my gift of the Gab and the Liverpool Living Heroes Path"By Tina, Liverpool Cathedral
"I would leave Liverpool my cockney accent and my children's scouse accents"By Michelle, Nugent Care
If you'd like to know more about the event or how you can make a difference to a local charity by leaving a gift in your Will, please get in touch.
